On Saturday, October 26, celebrate the spirit of Halloween with a truly spooktacular musical experience. The Hartford Symphony Orchestra takes you on a spine-tingling musical journey. Led by Conductor John Jesensky, the HSO will perform live musical favorites from the concert hall and silver screen. Popular chilling favorites include “Beetlejuice,” “Batman,” “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” “The Phantom of the Opera,” and more. This scream-worthy performance will be accompanied by interactive illustrations, lighting, and special effects. Ghouls of all ages are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes as The Bushnell transforms into a haunted theater with spellbinding decorations, festive activities, and enough tricks and treats to fill a graveyard! Don’t miss this frightfully fun event… if you dare!
The chills and thrills begin Saturday, October 26 at 3:00 p.m. Mortensen Hall at The Bushnell. John Jesensky is the creator of Tales of Halloween. John thought it was important to create a unique, family-friendly spooky event that introduces newcomers of all ages to orchestral music, eerie stories, and extraordinary artwork woven into a true Halloween experience.
