The New Britain Museum of American Art (NBMAA) is the first Museum in the country with a singular focus on American Art. There are several family-friendly things to do at the Museum including scavenger hunts, hands-on-art projects, makerspace, a  sculpture garden and more! Visit the front desk for coloring activities and specific family activities to engage your children while visiting the museum. 

NextGen SmartyPants' curriculum, NEXTGEN4, has been developed by experienced educators and STEAM professionals to bring fun, engaging, hands-on project-based learning opportunities to children ages 4-14 and beyond. NEXTGEN4 utilizes Robotics as the basis from which students develop competency in Coding, Engineering, Circuits, LEGO® design, Software Applications, and Technology Studio Arts.
